Second Life Holidays
Second life society is a dynamic and intricate one, much like the name suggests, second life is a virtual world in which you can create a different life for yourself. You can become the person you want to be inside this virtual world. Second life allows you to define your appearance the type of clothing you want to wear, how you would like to decorate your space, and a market filled with choices. Second life also allows a unique way to spend different holidays. Therefore, if you’re stuck at home alone on Easter, there is a way to hunt eggs without looking foolish doing it alone.
The Second Life virtual game allows you to experience things in the game world that you might not want to experience in real life, or some that perhaps you can’t. There are often musical Second Life events, like live concerts that are taking place in the real world, but also being broadcast into the game. Holidays are just an extension of that idea, where what is happening in real life, is also happening in game. Holidays in second life can be celebrated with the friendships you’ve built, or with the masses. Events are planned, and sometimes span the seemingly unending groups within the Second Life virtual world. There are often Easter egg hunt competitions. The SL market offers a variety of objects for the Easter and Passover holidays, from the classic Easter bonnet, and eggs to hide, to Passover textures for your space. Dress up as a virtual bunny, display a chocolate Easter egg cake, wear those lop eared slippers, or put some Easter tulips on your virtual table, however you want to celebrate, and whichever holiday you do, you’ll find a way to express your beliefs and have fun in the virtual reality offered by the second life community.
